The club relies upon at least 20 volunteers to run the club day to day, with more help needed for running events. A core group of volunteers together create the Management Committee who lead and manage the club, with help and support from parents, coaches and external partners.
Management Committee: Responsible for making Clifton United work, the committee consists of 8 specific roles, led by a Chair and Deputy Chair along with the Team Managers. They meet monthly on the first Monday of each month 8-9.30pm between August and June to discuss and manage the administration and operation of the club.
Team managers: Responsible for the smooth running of individual squads across the club, working with team coaches to deliver a high quality football programme for the players.
External partners: The club is dependent on close working relationships with three external partners who provide professional support to the volunteer led club. They are:
- Gloucestershire FA
- JW Coaching who provide a team of professional, qualified coaches
- Clifton College Sport and Leisure who provide training and home match day facilities
Parent volunteers: The club also depends on additional volunteers to get involved in running the club, supporting management committee, particularly to support the running of events like the Annual Club Tournament and the Christmas Fun Day.
