12th Annual Football Tournament

Clifton United Football Club would like to invite you to take part in our Annual Football Tournament on Sunday 17th May 2020. Closing date for all entries is 12th April 2020.

Age Groups: U7s – U12s

  • Under 7s and 8s will play in a ‘Festival of Football’ Tournament on Astro and 3G turf pitches 
  • Under 9s to Under 12s will play on grass or 3G turf pitches 
  • Qualification for teams will be based on school year ie. Year 2 for Under 7 up to Year 7 for Under 12s (Under 10s to 12s are permitted to field players from one year below)
  • Start times for each age group will be confirmed by 7th May 2020

Tournament Rules 

  • Under 7s and Under 8s will play 5-a-side (maximum squad size: 10)
  • Under 9s – U11s will play 7-a-side (maximum squad size: 12)
  • Under 12s will play 6 v 6 (maximum squad size: 10)
  • The Tournament is open to all non-academy football clubs who are affiliated through the English FA and you will need to confirm your affiliation number when you register. Sorry but we are unable to accept entries from teams unless they are affiliated with an English County FA. So teams registered with the Welsh or Scottish FA are unable to enter 
  • More than one team may be entered per year-group. However, spaces are limited, and we reserve the right to limit entry to one team if age groups are over-subscribed

  • £27.50 per team

To enter a team

  • Please complete the online entry form and make your payment for all teams entered by 12th April 2020 to secure your place

  • All applications must include a mobile telephone number that will be used on the day and an email address for correspondence
  • If we receive more entries than we can accommodate, we will select teams from clubs in the order that applications were received and refund any payments for teams we are unable to accommodate. We will notify you by email after 5th April if your entry has been successful
  • We will endeavour to inform teams of start times for each age group by 7th May
